BAPTISM
An outward expression of an inward transformation
-
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward work that the Holy Spirit is doing inside a person. It is a visible sign that becomes a person’s act of witness to their belief in Jesus as their Savior. We baptize people by full immersion or dunking, as it signifies being buried with Christ and then raised again to new life in Jesus!
-
When you believe.
If you have chosen to put your faith in the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of your life, then your immediate next step should be to get baptized.
-
Because, Jesus said to.
18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus left us with this commissioning, to make disciples and baptize them. As a church, we at Liberty strive to honor and follow this command. We believe that if you have chosen to put your faith in the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of your life, then your immediate next step should be to get baptized.

We’re forgiven and cleansed.
It’s a gift of the Holy Spirit.
We have a new life in Christ.
